Adwords Miracle is an ebook, which deals very specifically with making money through the effective use of Google's pay-per-click "AdWords" system. It is similar to other eBooks that have been written about pay per click affiliate marketing methods such as Google Cash or Google Adwords 1-2-3.

Adwords Miracle, subtitled to be The Real Life Confessions of an Adwords Profiteer, is Chris McNeeney's first book and it was a blockbuster in 2003. Two other successful books - Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer, have since followed it. All of these books promise to make you $300 a day so you can quit your day job. However the caveat of course is that you must have a great product to sell in the first place.

Why are the books by Google Ads writing master Chris McNeeney so successful? It is probably the fact that his books are so easy to read. They don't have that stiff stale quality that many of the step-by-step books have. Also all of the affiliate marketing instructional books written by this publisher contain a lot of theory and not just a brusque set of instructions about making money online or through PPC. Another refreshing thing about his books is that they are usually reasonably free of advertising links. Many ebooks that claim $300 per day adwords secrets nowadays are just riddled with them. Compared to other books of its kind it is a bit short. However, at 200 pages long it is the lengthiest of all three of Chris McNeeney's affiliate marketing books. Many packages that it is sold with also come with two hours of video to watch as well.

The first chapter is devoted to introducing you to the Google Adwords basics and tells you how to set up an account. This is just like a light introduction. The real advice starts coming at you in Chapter 2 which is all about how to write Google Ads that work every time and be consistent at it. This is the section of Google Adwords Miracle that contains the most valuable content and it is also the longest section of the book. Many people say that this section alone is worth he price of this book. Still it is pricey at $97.00.

The next chapter on Campaign management is somewhat disappointing, as the subject seems more like it is skimmed over. It reads like the first chapter - like a section that is made for beginners only. However it does contain some valuable advice for newbies, particularly when it comes to budgeting your Google Adwords campaign and not blowing your wad on it for the entire first day. This is essential reading for people first starting out with Adwords but disappointingly there is not much advice here for more advanced users.

Still the campaign chapter does have some valuable tips about how to choose products through a process called skimming niches and also information and advice about how to thoroughly test a campaign before you spend a lot of money to make it run. There is also an extensive section on keywords called odds and sods.

Another thing to keep in mind is that since this book was written Google Adwords policy has changed allowing only one Adwords ad for each affiliate target URL. This means that people now have to create a lot of landing pages. It also resulted in affiliate marketers cutting their profit margins and having to increase their AdWords bid amounts. If you are an experienced affiliate marketer then you will probably just want to treat this chapter like a refresher course.

Just before this book was written Google Adwords had just changed its policies. Instead of being able to bid on keywords for multiple URLs, affiliate marketers were restricted to only being able to bid on one URL. This put many affiliate marketers out of business. Instead of using pay per click to make affiliate income marketers went back to older methods such as using URL opt in lists and SEO techniques such as using metatags.

Although Chris McNeeney (or his ghostwriter) writes in an affable, straight to the point tone some of his promises to the reader, such as "your financial freedom is guaranteed!" and "you will make a 40% clickthrough rates" is over the top and makes his concepts seem cheesier then they need to be. Yet another suspicious statement is the one that claims that the secrets revealed in this book are only known by the top one percent of marketers.

Also some parts of this book seemed a bit disorganized structurally with information about choosing keywords that should have appeared in earlier chapters ending up in later chapters.

However if you are intersected in finding out how to make multiple streams of income through affiliate marketing then you should definitely consider checking out Adwords Miracle. The bottom line is that it is one of the simplest and easiest to read books about how to make a living from the web is using Google Adwords. The great thing about Adwords is you can literally start earning right away, no matter how much money you have, where you live or how familiar you are with pay per click programs in the first place. This book also gets kudos for showing absolute beginners how to make money using Google Adwords with pocket change.

Also the section on how to write Google Adwords in this book is absolutely brilliant. The author refers to himself as a master at it and provides plenty of examples in this book to prove that certainly do give proof to his claim. Also this particular affiliate marketing guru is absolutely amazing when it comes to pointing out where people make the kind mistakes that consistently cut their earnings in half.

If you buy the 2007 edition of the book you will find that a new chapter has been added called "Key Issues." This new section is filled with more tips on how to double or even triple your Google Adword earnings and also how to adapt your Google Adwords to E-Publishing and blogs.

The new section also gives details on how to beat out all of the competition that has come online since 2003 when he first published his book. You need that edge because people are now making hundreds of thousands of dollars using pay per click programs however the problem is that all of these marketers are all chasing what Chris McNeeney calls "the same piece of meat." In this new addition to the Adwords Miracle he describes how you can use specific keyword search methods such as skimming to not only guarantee your affiliate income but also distinguish yourself as selling something different then your competitor.

One of the most interesting things about this new section is that it teaches you how to make a profit without going to all the trouble, time and expensive of having a website. So the 2007 edition of this Google Adwords guide is also a primer in what is now nicknamed as "bum marketing."
